The Outrider is Arken's first all-round hunting scope, bringing the brand's precision engineering to a lightweight, compact platform built for hunters who move. Where Arken made its name on long-range FFP tactical optics, the Outrider series takes a second focal plane approach, keeping the reticle a consistent size and visibility across the full magnification range. The result is a scope that suits mountain hunts, walk-and-stalk, range training and farm predator control equally well.
The 2-12x magnification range is the heart of its versatility. At 2x you get an ultra-wide 58.8 ft field of view at 100 yards for rapid terrain scanning and fast target acquisition, roughly double what a typical 4-12x hunting scope offers at its base setting. Wind it up to 12x and you have the resolution for confident shots at distance. A forgiving eye box and generous 3.5 in eye relief help you find a natural sight picture quickly from offhand or improvised positions.
Optically, the Outrider uses premium Japanese HD glass with super bright, fully multi-coated optics delivering over 90% light transmission, producing a bright, high-contrast image from first light to last. The Fiber Duplex Reticle (FDR) adds a fibre-optic illuminated centre aiming point that stays daylight-bright and draws the eye naturally to the point of aim, with six brightness levels to match conditions from full sun to failing light.
Parallax is factory set at 100 yards, a deliberate choice that removes the need for side-focus adjustment and keeps your attention on the target when things happen quickly. Turrets are 0.25 MOA per click with 15 MOA per revolution, counter-clockwise rotation, offering 90 MOA of elevation and 80 MOA of windage adjustment. A throw lever base is included for fast magnification changes.
Durability matches the optics. The aircraft-grade aluminium 30mm tube is rated for .50 BMG recoil, IP67 waterproof and dustproof, and nitrogen-purged against internal fogging. A hydrophobic lens coating sheds water and moisture, so sudden showers and damp backcountry mornings won't cost you the sight picture. At 12.1 in long and 23.8 oz in matte black, it carries easily on any hunting rifle.
