The Arken Outrider 3-18x50 SFP DLR is Arken's first all-round hunting scope, built for hunters who reach further and prefer their aiming reference kept clean and traditional. Arken made its name on high-precision, long-range first focal plane tactical riflescopes; the Outrider takes that engineering and applies it to a lightweight, compact hunting platform ready for mountain hunts, range training and farm predator control alike.
The optical system is built around premium Japanese HD glass with Super Bright Fully Multi-Coated optics, delivering 90%+ light transmission for exceptional twilight performance. Combined with the large 50 mm objective lens, the Outrider holds a bright, high-contrast image from first light to last, even at the top of its 3-18x magnification range, so you spot game earlier and see the detail that matters before you commit to the shot.
The Duplex Reticle (DLR) is for hunters who want a traditional aiming reference with nothing to distract from the target. Bold outer posts draw the eye quickly to the centre, while a fine centre aiming point allows precise shot placement without obscuring the target. Sitting in the second focal plane, the reticle maintains a consistent size across the whole magnification range for an intuitive, predictable sight picture, and with no illumination or battery to manage it is the lighter and more affordable of the two Outrider options.
Focus is handled by an intuitive side-focus parallax wheel that adjusts from 10 yards to infinity, keeping the reticle sharp and the sight picture clear from close-range practice out to distant targets. 0.25 MOA turret adjustments at 15 MOA per revolution, 56 MOA of elevation travel and 48 MOA of windage give you the room to dial confidently for range, all on a familiar 30 mm tube with counter-clockwise rotation.
Out in the field, hydrophobic lens coatings shed water and moisture through sudden showers and damp backcountry mornings, while the aircraft-grade aluminium construction is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, nitrogen-purged fogproof and rated for .50 BMG recoil. Supplied with a sunshade, tethered lens covers, throw lever base and Torx tooling, the Outrider 3-18x50 DLR is ready to mount and go.
